About TG Sheppard

TG Sheppard's real name is William Neal Browder. He got his start in country music at the age of 15 when he dropped out of school and ran away to Memphis to start his singer songwriter career. He released his first records under a different name, Brian Stacy, in 1966, but he truly gained popularity under the name TG Sheppard. He gained tons of traction in 1974 and began an illustrious career that spanned for decades. His discography is incredible, and he has 14 number-one hits to his name! Dominating the country charts during his prime, he became known for his soulful sound and country roots.
